Let the Happy Dance commence!

Every once in a while something happens that sends me happy dancing around the living room singing and cheering at the top of my lungs.  It is usually an awesome flash sale or a discovery of a new, delicious bleu cheese.  But today, today my embarrassing happy dance routine was a result of shout-out from one of my design icons!!!  The super stylish, INCREDIBLY talented Tamara of Citrine Living tagged me for #followfriday (a designer to be following) and #widn (“What I’m Doing Now”).   It still feels crazy that such an incredible talent noticed little me plugging away in this tiny, historic corner of beautiful Central Virginia.  What a crazy ride this is!

What I’m Doing Now was spending the morning doing my best to freshen up our website.  Ben, my husband, is the technical genius, but when we launched Tera Janelle Design, I took this empowered, creative, get-er-done [okay maybe stubborn ;)] approach and decided I wanted to build the website entirely on my own.  I have a pretty embarrassing learning curve, and it takes me ridiculously longer than it would take
anyone else, but I am beaming and proud of our little website nonetheless… when I’m not pulling out my hair and yelling at the computer at least.

So on this Friday afternoon, here’s to Get ‘Er Done determination and Happy Dances.  May the force of both be with you. :)
