You guys. I am SO EXCITED and am sending a heart full of gratitude to the amazing Formica countertops and Domino magazine for including the Riverside Project kitchen in their current issue. Formica laminate is proving you can achieve beauty while staying on budget, and our budget-friendly Riverside kitchen made the Domino magazine round up! If you haven’t yet picked up the summer issue, swing by your local bookstore. It is 185 pages brimming full of inspiring design and beautiful spaces. So. Much. Pretty!
And for some more photos of the kitchen renovation and those lovely Formica Soapstone Sequoia countertops — as well as all the kitchen sources — just keep scrolling. You know how I love a good renovation “Before & After.” :)

Whoot-Whoot! Love it – I actually ordered a sample after looking at this!

Oh Cathy, thank you for popping by and saying hello! I love the Soapstone Sequoia color, especially paired with marble or a classic subway tile with light gray grout — both classic combos. I was so happy to find an affordable laminate with some depth and texture, and several years in, they still look GORGEOUS! Happy counter planning. Let me know what you decide!

Hi. I love how this looks. I have a similar corner sink set up. Is there a seam in the Formica in the corner? Thanks
TeraJanelle says
Hi Beth,
Thank you! We did not need a seam given the counters size. But longer stretches of counter would likely need a seam.
